Developer Atlus has released Persona 4 Golden for PC. The game was previously only playable on the PlayStation Vita. The jprg is available immediately on Steam and costs 20 euros. A deluxe edition with digital soundtrack and artbook is also available for 25 euros.

Atlus made the announcement during the PC Gaming Show, and released the game on Steam right after that. Persona 4 Golden is an enhanced version of Persona 4, which was released for the PS2 in 2008. The improved variant, in turn, came out in 2012, and until recently was exclusively playable on the PlayStation Vita. The game was well received upon release; the game has a score of 93 on Metacritic.

Persona 4 Golden is the franchise’s first mainline game to be released for PC. Previously, these games from this jrpg series were only available on PlayStation platforms. It is not yet clear whether other games in the series, such as Persona 5 from 2017, will be coming to PC. Atlus already released Catherine Classic on Steam in 2019. That is a PC port of puzzle game Catherine for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
