Assassin’s Creed is getting a Story Creator Mode, in which players can create their own questlines and stories. They can then share these with other players, even if they play the game on a different platform. The game will also get a Discovery Tour mode, just like Origins.

In the mode, players can work with six different objectives, including kill, rescue and visit a location. Along the way to those goals, it is possible to not only build in dialogues with different paths, but the same is also possible on the larger quest level, meaning different choices can lead to the same or different endings. Options also include interrupting a conversation to attack them or tell them lies.

According to a blog post from Ubisoft, the tool players work with is web-based. The tool will go into open beta immediately and work on Story Creator Mode should be completed in the fall.

Furthermore, Ubisoft says that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will get a Discovery Tour mode in the fall, in which the game world can be explored as if it were a museum. There is then no conflict and no barriers that stand in the way of the player. There are also interactive tours with quizzes at the end. The mode also came to predecessor Assassin’s Creed Origins.
