ASRock will announce two new 27” LCD gaming monitors. The PG27QFW2A has a refresh rate of 400Hz and a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The PG27FFX2A comes with a refresh rate of 520Hz. It is not clear what the resolution of this monitor is.

According to the editors from VideoCardz and from Pcgamer.com the PG27FFX2A would have a resolution of 1080p. However, this has not yet been confirmed by ASRock. The company has published a press release, but that is not readable via the ASRock website at the time of writing. It is not clear when exactly ASRock will launch the monitors on the market and how much the devices will cost.

ASRock would also announce two OLED screens. According to the editors of Pcgamer.com, it concerns a 27″ and a 34″ OLED panel. The PGO27QFS2A is said to be a 27” monitor with a refresh rate of 240Hz and a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The PGO34QRT2A would be a 32” screen and would also have a 240Hz refresh rate. The resolution of this monitor would be 3440×1440 pixels. It is not clear when these screens will appear on the market and what the cost will be.

Update, 07/01 at 09:35: The article contained information that was incorrectly reproduced. ASRock would announce two LCD screens, one with a refresh rate of 400Hz and another with a refresh rate of 500Hz. Previously it said that these were OLED monitors, but that was wrong. According to Pcgamer.com, these are LCD monitors. The second paragraph makes more use of the conditional mood. Thanks to Jeroenneman.
