The German manufacturer Alpenföhn presents a processor cooler that consists of two cooling towers and is equipped with two 140mm fans. The Olymp is suitable for all common sockets, including Intel 2011v3.

With the Olymp cooler, Alpenföhn aims at overclockers. According to the manufacturer, the cooling tower is capable of cooling processors up to a TDP of 340 watts. Such high consumption is only possible if users significantly increase the voltage of their CPU. Alpenföhn supplies mounting materials for use on motherboards with sockets such as 2011v3, AM3+, FM2+ and 115x.

The aluminum cooling block consists of two parts, has a copper bottom plate and is equipped with six heat pipes. The cooler weighs 1200 grams and has height, length and width dimensions of 165x151x150mm. Alpenföhn supplies the Olymp with two 140mm fans with PWM connection. The fans operate at a speed of 300rpm to 1400rpm and that should yield a maximum noise production of 26.8 dBA according to the manufacturer. Alpenföhn has included a suggested retail price of 80 euros in its specifications.
