Activision CEO Chris Schnakenberg has internally shown a next-generation Nintendo Switch that would have a performance comparable to the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. The company says it would like to make something for the as yet unannounced console.

This concludes The Verge based on internal documents revealed during the lawsuit between the FTC and Microsoft over the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Many details have been redacted, but the information is said to have been presented by Nintendo executives to Activision CEO Bobby Kotick, among others. Subsequently, this information would have been communicated internally by Schnakenberg, regarding possible Activision games for this console. The as-yet-unannounced console is reportedly expected to hit the market sometime in the second half of 2024.
