Not many motherboards use the AMD southbridges. A number of old boards with 750 chipset, such as the MSI 6167, do belong to this group. However, almost all 760 boards have a VIA southbridge and this driver is therefore not needed. The release notes are as follows:
- Fixed Windows 98/ME issue with Suspend to RAM support for AMD-766 Peripheral Bus Controller.
- Fixed Windows NT issue of VideoCD not playing in a DVD drive.
