Although Omegadrive has stopped developing tweaked drivers for nVidia graphics cards in protest, ATi card owners can still count on new versions of the popular Omega drivers. That’s why tweaked versions of ATi’s Catalyst 3.5 driver package have recently appeared on omegacorner.com† The drivers for Windows 2k and XP are numbered 2.4.60, the Windows 9x version of the package is already on 2.6.09. As usual, both versions provide a better image and possibly even a few extra FPS. The readme contains the following release notes:

• Based on the official Catalyst 3.5 ATI drivers. (9x/ME/2k/XP)
• Added support for the following chipsets: (9x/ME/2k/XP) Mobility 9600
• The OpenGL hotfix is ​​included. (9x/ME/2k/XP)
• Removed a LOT of obsolete tweaks, now the drivers are cleaner and have been done from scratch. (9x/ME/2k/XP)
