Software Update: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.7.3

Mozilla has released a new version of Thunderbird. This program is a free, open source and cross platform email and newsgroup client with features like a junk mail filter, spell checker, the ability to further extend its functionality using extensions and change the look with themes† The changelog of version 0.7.3 bears a striking resemblance to that of Firefox 0.9.3:

• Bug 249004 – Importing false CA certificate leading to error -8182 (perm DoS), especially exploitable by email
• Bug 251381 – new libpng buffer overflow vulnerabilities
