Rumor: Nvidia to announce GeForce GTX 1070 Ti on October 26
Nvidia will announce the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti on October 26, a German and Swedish website report. The video card, the arrival of which has been predicted in the rumor circuit for some time, should fill the gap between the GTX 1070 and 1080.
Both the German Heise and the Swedish NordicHardware mention the introduction date of October 26, with Heise noting that the actual availability will follow a week later, on November 2. NordicHardware also mentions the specifications.
It would be a card with 2432 cudacores, with a core clock of 1607MHz and a boost to 1683MHz. The card would get gddr5 memory, just like the GTX 1070. The GTX 1080 and 1080 Ti have faster gddr5x memory.
The amount of memory and other specifications such as tdp cannot yet be mentioned by NordicHardware, but VideoCardz states that it is 8GB gddr5 and the tdp is 180W. According to that site, the GTX 1070 Ti fills the gap that existed between the GTX 1070 and 1080, which AMD is aiming for with its RX Vega cards. The price of the video card is not yet known.
