Download iSquint 1.3

The iSquint program can easily convert all kinds of video material to iPod format on the Mac OS X platform. Among other things, it has support for files with a DivX, XviD, 3GP or WMV format. For an overview of all possibilities, we refer you to this page. The developers have released version 1.3 with the following changes:

Version 1.3:

• MPEG-4 compression now up to 200% faster! wtfcrazy!
• A huge number of audio sync issues fixed up.
• Thanks to David Van Brink for qt_export.
• Swedish Localization by Leif Karlsson
• Chinese (simplified) Localization by Yalei Wu

Version 1.2.3:

• iSquint is now immune to the iPod 1.1 Firmware bug!
• Videos compressed with iSquint 1.2.3 will not have the skipping/muting problem on 60GB /1.1fw iPods as seen with other utilities.
• Fixed problems running on older G3s and G4s.
• Fixed some weird bitrate/fidelity issues with certain sound tracks.

Version 1.2.2:

• More Premature Completion fixes. Her old version lasted…why can’t you?
• Cleaning up after a canceled encode now works better.

Version 1.2.1:

• Slightly updated build or ffmpeg. Fixes the following two problems:
  • Certain .vob files weren’t correctly recognized. Fixed.
  • Old G3 computers incompatible with recent build process. Fixed.
• Premature Completion problem fixed. Don’t be embarrassed. It happens to lots of guys.
• The final muxer no longer causes inaccurate (or any) AppleScript errors.
• Japanese systems can now use the “Saving In” field without AppleScript errors.
• Portuguese language tweaks.
