Download Transmission 1.91

Transmission is a BitTorrent client that can do its job on Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris. The program written in C has a clear graphical interface that makes downloading files a breeze. The developer has already released a new version, this time with 1.91 as the version number. This edition fixes some bugs from the previous release. The list of changes since the previous entry in the Meuktracker shows us the following:

• Fix 1.90 crash-on-startup bug that affected some users
• Fix 1.90 bug that caused the “turtle mode” state to be forgotten between sessions
• Fix 1.83 crash when adding a torrent by URL from an ftp source via the web client
• For the BitTorrent? spec’s “downloaded=X” passage, use the de facto standard

Mac:

• Fix 1.90 bug when removing trackers
