Tech site WinFuture has gotten its hands on specs for the upcoming Oppo Find X5 Pro. The high-end smartphone had already had many leaks, so specs are confirmed here and sometimes expanded a bit.

Previous specifications and images of the Find X5 Pro came out in December and January. WinFuture now reports that the Find X5 Pro has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on board, with a Qualcomm Adreno 730 GPU, 12GB lpddr5x ram and 256GB ufs 3.1 storage memory. This cannot be expanded further with a memory card.

The display is a 120Hz, 6.67″ amoled with ltpo and a resolution of 3216 by 1440 pixels. The pixel density is therefore 526 ppi. Under the display are also the fingerprint reader and the front camera. That sensor, a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709, is behind a punch hole in the top left.On the connectivity side there is support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, BlueTooth 5.2 and an NFC chip is present.

The cameras were developed in collaboration with the Swedish Hasselblad, which has been largely owned by the Chinese DJI since 2017. That collaboration was already there with OnePlus, a sister brand of Oppo. The cameras are all from Sony: twice an IMX766, for the wide and ultrawide photos. These would both have optical image stabilization. The third camera, for telephotos, could zoom up to 5x with hybrid zoom and up to 20x with digital zoom.

The MariSilicon-ai chip is featured prominently on the camera island. This takes care of focusing, which is not possible with a cool sensor or laser. For example, the chip also provides the night mode of the cameras. They film at maximum in 4k60fps modes.

Finally, the Find X5 Pro has a 5000mAh battery on board that can be charged with 80W. This is also possible wirelessly, but it is not clearly stated with what kind of power that goes. In terms of water and dust resistance, the phone gets an IP68 certification. The whole runs on ColorOS 12.1, based on Android 12. The colors are ceramic black and ceramic white. According to WinFuture, the phone will in any case be released in Germany in the coming weeks for a price that ‘exceeds 1200 euros’.
