Thrustmaster has announced four new products in the TCA series for flight sims. It consists of a modular joystick with multiple adjustable buttons, a stand, a sidestick with two thrust levers, and a sidestick add-on. The products are made together with Airbus.

Thrustmaster’s first product falls in the Thrustmaster Civil Aviation series. That’s the TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition. This joystick has twelve customizable action buttons and four interchangeable button modules. The joystick is a replica of the sidestick used by Airbus in its A320 and A320neo aircraft. In the foot of the joystick is a throttle with thrust reversal function.

Radius reversal helps players master certain maneuvers better, according to Thrustmaster. Finally, the joystick grip can be rotated to operate the rudder of an aircraft. This rotary handle can optionally be locked.

In addition to the joystick, Thrustmaster comes with the additional TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition. This device has two separate thrust levers that can be linked together to control four-engine aircraft. The Quadrant has eight physical action buttons, eight virtual push buttons on the levers and a built-in thrust reverser.

Later, Thrustmaster will release two more modules for the Quadrant, the TCA Quadrant Add-On Airbus Edition. This is one product that replicates the buttons for the air brake, flaps, automatic brake and parking brake as Airbus uses in the A320 and A320neo aircraft.

The latest new product is the TM Flying Clamp, which can be used to attach the products announced today to a desk or table. According to Thrustmaster, many fans have been asking about this device and it is made of metal. The Clamp can be used both left and right handed and also works with the T.16000M FCS joystick, among others.

The products in the TCA series are compatible with Windows versions 10 and 8 and work via USB. According to Thrustmaster, the products will work with all flight sim games on the market, including the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator. The products use Thrustmaster’s HallEffect AccuRate Technology system and work with magnetic sensors. Thrustmaster is also introducing the Officer Pack Airbus Edition, a bundle of the Sidestick and Quadrant with no add-ons.
