Publisher THQ Nordic presents PC game SpellForce: Conquest of Eo. The turn-based game combines RTS and RPG elements. The creators promise a high degree of replayability thanks to a procedurally generated single player campaign.

Conquest of Eo is the first turn-based SpellForce game with a tactical grid of hexagons. Previous parts of the series already combined RTS and RPG elements. Players take on the role of a wizard and must raise their tower to become the “greatest mage of all time” and conquer Eo. To achieve that, players must defeat enemy armies with magical heroes and their own armies. By expanding the wizard tower, players gain access to new magic spells.

THQ Nordic shows a cinematic trailer with short gameplay clips at the end. On the Steam page of the game are screenshots of an alpha version. When the game will appear and what it will cost has not yet been announced.

SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is being developed by Owned by Gravity. That studio previously made the tactical strategy games Fantasy General. The SpellForce series of RTS RPGs has been around since 2003. The latest installment, SpellForce 3, was released in 2017. An improved version of it, SpellForce 3 Reforced, followed in 2021. That title has also been available for consoles since June this year.
