On March 3, Ubisoft will release Warlords of New York, a story expansion for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. The expansion costs $30 and is set in New York, just like the first game in the series. The story from that game is also picked up again.

In the expansion, players resume the manhunt for Aaron Keener, the former Division Agent who has gone rogue. The expansion includes new areas, and to get to Keener, players must take out all of his henchmen. These are Rogue Agents, each with a unique storyline and skill. Players unlock them by knocking them out.

Ubisoft not only adds a new storyline with the expansion, but also promises to change the game based on feedback. The publisher says that gameplay improvements are being made and promises, among other things, better loot. The interface and crafting system are also being addressed. Furthermore, the level cap goes up from 30 to 40.

The expansion also marks the start of a new season where a new themed event takes place every three months. The multiplayer part of the game is also being addressed. The Dark Zones get a simpler Rogue system where interaction between players is more rewarded.

Ubisoft will release Warlods of New York on March 3. The expansion is for sale in combination with the game itself for 60 euros. The DLC will also be released separately for $30 for players who already own the game. The expansion will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Uplay+. The Stadia version of the game will receive the expansion later in March.
