Some Batman: Arkham games seem to be coming to Nintendo Switch. They have been put online by an online store. The contents of the ‘Batman Arkham Collection’ are not listed, but the same collection on other platforms includes Asylum, City and Knight.

The collection is listed at the French web store WTT. This is the same web store that already put the Switch version of The Witcher 3 online before its announcement in 2018. There is a price of 59.99 euros and a release date: August 31 of this year. Furthermore, no new information is mentioned. Screenshots and box art are also omitted for the time being.

Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City have already received a port for the Wii U in the past. Batman: Arkham Knight, the latest title in the series, is not. The main games in the series can also be found on many common platforms: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, macOS and Windows. They can also be played on the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 through backward compatibility.

The first game in the franchise is seen as a good Metroidvania game, where there is a single large game world that gradually opens up to the player depending on whether he has collected the right equipment. Think of explosives to remove weak walls and the cryptographic sequencer to open electronic locks. Arkham City and Arkham Knight were a little more action oriented. The series is also known for what is popularly called the Arkham combat system, which is also used in the Middle-Earth games, for example.
