The first release candidate of the upcoming Xfce 4.4 desktop is now available for download. This release fixes a lot of bugs that were present in the second beta release, but also introduces new features, like the trash support in Thunar and xfdesktop. Besides that, this release also includes Xarchiver 0.4.0. See the release notes for a detailed list of changes between 4.4 beta2 and 4.4 rc1.
