Spread the love

Dunes MultiMedia has released version 7.1.0.0 of WinNc. This file manager is, as the name suggests, a clone of the time-honored Norton Commander. It can be used as an alternative to Windows Explorer and has to compete with programs like Total Commander, Altap Salamander and Directory Opus. A license costs about 35 euros and at the moment a discount of 25% applies. In version 7, support for Windows 10 has been added and the user interface has been refreshed. In this update, notifications can be disabled and several issues have been fixed.

New features:

  • Option to disable notifications in WinNc (#579)

Bug fixed:

  • Path control not drawing correctly (#570)
  • Bar next to state tabs is transparent, but should be white in Windows 10 (#568)

  • Empty search screen after search (#556)
  • Combo box settings (#555)
  • Windows 10 theme has small fonts and overwrite large fonts in 200 dpi screens (#549)
