Today a new beta release of Winamp has been released with version number 5.53 build 1898. This popular media player can be downloaded in different variants. The Lite version can only play music files. The Full version also allows viewing video files and listening to ShoutCast broadcasts. In addition, this version features a media library and CD ripping capability. Finally, the Pro version can also encrypt files and burn CDs. However, you have to pay for these features.
