Download VeraCrypt 1.24-Update8

A new update for version 1.24 of VeraCrypt has been released. VeraCrypt, a fork of TrueCrypt, is an open source encryption program that can encrypt entire hard drives or partitions and virtual volumes. VeraCrypt uses the original source code of TrueCrypt, but includes several security improvements. Volumes created with TrueCrypt can simply be opened and converted. This release only brings compatibility improvements for macOS Big Sur, the versions for Windows and Linux are not updated.

Changes in 1.24-Update8:

• Fix compatibility issues with macOS Big Sur, especially on Apple Silicon M1 with macFUSE 4.0.x.
