Tag&Rename is an application to manage your music collection and provide it with correct information. Among other things, the information tags of MP3, WMA, OGG and M4A files are supported. The information for the tags can be taken from the music databases of both freedb and allmusic.com. The chance that you have to enter the data from CDs manually is therefore very small. The following capabilities have been added to the second beta of version 3.1:

New features in this beta version:

• added support for native flac tags
• improved mp4 files support
• some minor fixes

New features in beta 1 version:

• added APEv2 tags support (mpeg plus, monkey’s audio, wav pack and optim frog formats)
• added mp4 files tags support (tested with Nero mp4, Real mp4 and Easy CD-DA Extractor mp4 files)
• added support for new frames: Rating, Mood, Disc #, Orchestra, Conductor, Lyricist, Original lyricist, File page, Artist page, Source page, Radio station name, Radio station page, Buy CD page, ISRC #, Label title, Catalog #
• added option to save ID3v2 tags data in Unicode
• redesigned program toolbars
• a lot of minor changes
