Download SphereXP 0.76.800

Dušan Hamar, the developer of the SphereXP, has released version 0.76.800 of his software. Companies like Microsoft have been working on 3D desktop environments for a while, but to this day nobody has seen much of it. Dušan decided to assemble something himself, and SphereXP is the result. Although it is only a concept, anyone who likes it can try the program. on this one page contains screenshots and videos. The changelog announces the following changes:

• memory management improved
• texture management (textures look better now)
• improved speed
• rotation limit removed
• panoramatic wallpapers support
• lot of the apps that could not be sent to the sphere now can be sent
• system interaction changed
• again an updated version of an opengl library (Tao)
• icon position saving
• system tray icon / hotkey for sending windows to the sphere
• now all the icons that are on your desktop should be also in the Sphere (except for the system icons like recycle bin, …)
• tons of other things
