Download SpeedTest 1.2

SpeedTest consists of two programs and measures the effective data transfer between two computers over the Internet or a network. SpeedSrv is the program for the server and hosts a file to which the client connects. SpeedClnt can download the hosted file and measure the speed. In addition, the client can be used to connect to a website to register the data rate. The results obtained are shown in a graph and can be compared to standard connection speeds. Version 1.2 was recently released and comes with the following four changes:

New features and fixes for version 1.2

• Fixed problem that did not allowed SpedSrv to serve more than one client at a time.
• Changed kb to KB on all screens – kb stands for kilobits and KB stands for kilobytes.
• Added the ability to include in the graphic display a baseline speed for comparison purposes.
• Added upgrade lookup from the help menu.
