Download SnIco Edit 2.2

Bart Meijer of Snide Soft has now released the final version 2.2 of his icon editing program SnIco Edit after a few beta releases and release candidates. The program can be downloaded as exe file or in zip format† SnIco Edit is free for personal use, but commercial institutions will have to pay for use. Below are all changes from the 2.2 development process:

Version 2.2 FINAL

• BUG: Color replacement tool doesn’t work on < 24 bit images

Version 2.2 RC3

• BUG: pipette option change globally can’t be turned off
• BUG: palette did not show always correctly in new icons.
• BUG: change globally didn’t work on all 4.8 bit icons.
• BUG: index out of bounds -1 error in tool settings window.
• bUG: incorrect resize for toolsettings windows fixed
• tolerance for bitcount < 24 implemented
• gradient fill buttons not available in icons with a colordepth < 24

• BUG: resizing image gives devision by 0 error

• BUG: color by solid fill did not change when another color was selected from the palette

• ADDED: options to toggle info text in grid form
• ANI files >=24 bit will include default palette on load
• Copy/paste function between multiple SnIco Edit instances possible.
