Smartalec Technologies has released Smartfix version 3.7. This program can be used to close known and lesser known security holes in Windows. Also, the program can detect viruses, worms, spyware and adware, it has a popup blocker and for laptop users there is an energy-saving option. In addition, the system tray provides quick access to, for example, the Windows tools for defragmentation and hard drive cleaning, Windows Update and the security alerts from McAfee and Symantec.
