RSSBean is a compact program for reading RSS feeds in Mac OS X 10.4. The program is written as a Dashboard widget with the idea to keep it simple and compact but with useful functions such as automatic scrolling. The developer recently released version 1.11 with the following changelog:

• Support URL begins with “feed://”
• Fixed some compatible problems. For example, RSSBean now works with feed feed://slashdot.org/index.rss.
• Fixed a filename case sensitive problem.
• Added Italian localization.
• Fixed the problem that “Refresh automatically” doesn’t work properly in some cases.
