Software Update: Real Alternative 1.37

Today, as so often, the releases of QuickTime Alternative go hand in hand with those of Real Alternative. This program allows you to play real media files without installing the Real One software. The installation package comes with the latest version of Media Player Classic, but once the codecs are on the system, any media player can be used. In this version, among other things, support for the browser Opera 8 has been added and the real media components have been updated. The full changelog of version 1.37 looks like this:

• Set F11 as default key for full-screen in MPC
• Updated RealMedia components to version 6.0.12.1069
• RealMedia Settings Tool: RTSP Transport Settings can now be configured. Useful if you have troubles with connection timeouts.
• Browser plugin now also supports Opera 8
