Software Update: Rage3D Tweak 3.8c

Spread the love

Almost everyone is familiar with RivaTuner; one of the best programs to tweak an nVidia card. Rage3D Tweaker has the same intention, only for video cards from ATi. With this tweak program you can overclock the core and memory, among other things. The changelog looks like this:

I’ve updated Rage3D Tweak and v3.8c now supports Radeon 9600 series cards. That is pretty much the only significant update from v3.8b, but there will be some larger updates coming out in the near future. For those of you working with 9600s. Enjoy!

Version 3.8c now available!

  • Added Force Pixel Shader Version for DirectX
  • Added Force Vertex Shader Version for DirectX
  • Note: You cannot force a higher shader version than your hardware actually supports. These tweaks are for forcing lower shader versions than your card supports. ex: There is no way that PS 2.0 will work on your Radeon DDR, I’m sorry.
  • Some minor bug fixes
  • 3.8b update: Added support for R350 based cards, others to come soon
  • 3.8b update: Completely rewritten overclocking libraries
  • 3.8c update: Added 9600 support
