Software update: PlayClaw 2.1 build 1475
Sytexis software recently released version 2.1 build 1475 of PlayClaw. With this program it is possible to take screenshots and record videos within games. By taking full advantage of the capabilities of multicore processors, the program should be able to make these recordings without slowing down the game itself. PlayClaw can handle both OpenGL and DirectX, including version 11. A license costs thirty dollars. Since the previous entry in the Meuktracker, the following changes have been made to the program:
Changes in version 2.1 build 1475:
- Fixed games crash when cancel started pre-recording;
- Fixed wrong audio channels mixer interface;
- AVI files are now “interleaved” – possible audio de-sync fix while playing back recorded videos;
- Fixed invalid overlays render in OpenGL 2.0 games;
Changes in version 2.1 build 1471:
- Now PlayClaw is able to mix two audio sources in one AVI audio track;
Changes in version 2.1 build 1470:
- Fixed FPS drop on DirectX 9 games even without recording;
Changes in version 2.1 build 1469:
- Fixed random crash with two audio sources recording;
- High compression codec is now faster up to 2-4 times;
- Minor changes and low compression codec optimizations;
