Software update: Pinnacle Studio 9.04

Pinnacle has a patch for its Studio 9 high priority software released]. This one is numbered 9.04 and can here be brought down. The update provides, among other things, a small performance boost and now recognizes all Sony DVD burners. The changelog shows the following changes:

Issues fixed in 9.0.4 patch

• Fixes sluggishness on some computers while running Studio 9.
• If Studio 9 was installed on any drive other than the C: drive, you MUST install this patch to use Studio 9 audio and video plug in effects.
• A problem is corrected which, in some cases, caused Studio 9 to fail to recognize Sony DVD +/-RW drives (specifically, the Sony DW-U14A and the DRU-510A.)
