AcroPDF Systems, the maker of PDF SpeedUp and AcroPDF, among others, has released a new program called Photoshop SpeedUp. This program can significantly speed up the startup of Adobe Photoshop. This is done by disabling all plugins that are not required to be used. In addition, it is possible to prevent all fonts and presets from being loaded, and to set the maximum amount of system memory that can be used by Photoshop. The program works with versions 4 through 8 of Photoshop. Finally, a summary of all options:
