Download Passmark Wirelessmon 3.0 build 1002

Passmark has released version 3.0 build 1002 of Wirelessmon. This program monitors the status of the wireless network card and the access points within its range. For example, it can be seen whether the network is configured correctly, it can be tested whether all components are working properly, whether the access points are secured and what the throughput speeds of the network are. In addition, the program can assist in locating the antenna, where directional antennas are used, and can help locate interference or other problems. The following changes have been made in this release:

Changes in release 3.0 build 1002:

• Added new boundary checks and warning messages when entering GPS co-ordinates in DMS format
• Updated help file with information about requirement of maps to be north aligned for correct calibration and mapping when using GPS co-ordinates
• Fixed a bug where “Unable to move old config file..” error was shown when WirelessMon was installed on a different drive to the Windows system directories
• Fixed a bug where some GPS messages where being read incorrectly and not updating the position
