Software update: Passmark PerformanceTest 7.0 build 1014

PassMark Software, known for BurnInTest and WirelessMon, among others, released version 7.0 build 1014 of PerformanceTest on Thursday. This program allows a computer running Windows 2000 or later to be subjected to a series of benchmarks. In 28 tests, the six main groups, namely the processor, 2D graphics, 3D graphics, hard disk, memory and CD/DVD drive, are tested as objectively as possible and graphically compared to a number of other systems. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Changes in version 7.0 build 1014:

  • Fixed Advanced RAW disk write test
  • Fixed bug where the last data point of the advanced disk export would be printed twice
  • Fixed minor text error in HTML export
  • Added PT Version to HTML Export
  • Fixed bug where PT would disable Turbo Mode on some Intel CPUs and not Re-enable it when done
  • Fixed bug where new windows would sometimes open on wrong monitor
