Dino Nuhagic just released version 0.98.1 beta of nLite. This program can be used to customize a Windows 2000, XP or 2003 installation CD. For example, it can remove unused components and also slipstream service packs. This creates an installation CD that is up-to-date, with enough space to add your own programs and drivers. If everything is as desired, the whole thing can be written back to a bootable ISO file. nLite is written in C#, so it is necessary that Microsofts .NET Framework is installed. This release is accompanied by the following release notes and be sure to note the last sentence:

This version could be buggy, still working on it, if you encounter any errors use 0.97, it’s quite stable.
