Download nLite 0.95 beta
Version 0.95 beta of nLite has been posted on the Microsoft Software Forum Network. This tool can be used to create a custom WindowsXP installation CD. For example, components that are not used can be removed and it is able to slipstream service packs. Finally, the whole thing is written to an ISO file again as a self-starting CD. nLite uses the .NET framework and if not already installed it is from here to download. The changelog of this release shows the following changes:

- new component: Image Viewer
- new component: Paint
- new component: Remote Registry
- new component: Synchronization Manager
- removed avatars from Images removal
- added some debug info while building file list
- every component autodetectable (except languages and printer drivers)
- many bug fixes, including music.wma missing file[break]
