Download NewsLeecher 4.0 Beta 16

NewsLeecher has beta 16 of version 4.0 of its eponymous program ready. With NewsLeecher it is possible to easily download files from newsgroups. The program supports nzb files, has a so-called super search, and can automatically check downloaded files for integrity and completeness and then extract them independently. In this release, the collections algorithm has been further improved and some bugs have been fixed. The full changelog of this release looks like this:

Improved feature:

• Further improved the ‘Collections’ algorithm, which is used by NewsLeecher to find articles that belong together.

Fixed bugs:

• After sorting an article view, NewsLeecher will now automatically make the pre-sort focused article (if any) visible again.
• The ‘Sort by Status Column’ feature is now working again.
• Fixed bug introduced in previous beta, where the group browsers article subject filter history was reset between app launches.
