MySQL has released a new stable in the 3.x series of its open-source database of the same name. The version number is 3.23.55, the successor of number 3.23.54. You can see the list of changes made in 3.23.55 here find.
Apart from being more stable, more optimized and more portable, the MySQL 3.23 release has several major features not present in the 3.22 or 3.21 releases.
