MediaMonkey is a program that allows you to manage your music collection. Thus, it is able to play music, customize ID3 tags, rip CDs and convert audio. In addition, it is possible to add functionality through plugins† The full list of features is here to find. A successor has been in the works for some time now version 2.1 worked and the developers behind this project have now made version 2.2 RC 3 available. The changelog for this release is as follows:

• Fixed CD Reader is buggy on some systems
• Fixed search on numeric fields broken in RC-2 & search parameters persist when they shouldn’t

• Fixed default send-to Folder (Rip/Convert) settings are annoying and don’t persist
