Software update: LitePC 2000-XPlite 1.6

LitePC has released a new version of 2000-XPlite. The version number is 1.6.0286 and the program is from here to download. This software can be used to configure and clean a Windows 2000 or XP machine. For example, a Windows XP installation can be reduced to 350MB and Windows 2000 to no less than 200MB. The changelog of this release shows the following changes:

The initial release is a simple search for uninstall information but the Utility tab will be expanded to include unused driver files and also some profile based searches (eg to remove all networking code if the PC does not require networking access, remove all sound related files if the system has no sound card etc
