LuCarD was the first to inform us of the news that the Linux 2.4.9 kernel has just been released. Version 2.4.9 follows less than a week after the 2.4.8 kernel, which was released on Saturday. It changelog announces the following changes:

  • Kevin Fleming: more disks the HPT controller doesn’t like
  • David Miller: “min()/max()” cleanups. Understands signs and sizes.
