Download LAV Filters 0.77

Version 0.77 of the LAV Filters has been released. The LAV Filters are a collection of open source DirectShow filters that allow the most common formats of audio and video to be played in a media player of your choice. It is part of the K-Lite Codec Pack and the Combined Community Codec Pack, among others. In addition, there are also media players that already have it on board as standard, such as Media Player Classic – Home Cinema, Media Player Classic – Black Edition and VLC Media Player. Despite the fact that the previous release was released almost nine months ago, the changelog shows only a few changes and improvements:

L.A.V. Splitter

• Fixed: Improved handling of multichannel PCM channel assignments
• Fixed: MP4 Keyframe information could be wrong

LAV Audio

• NEW: Support for audio with more than 8 channel, including automatic downmixing if required
