Software update: K3b 0.11.19

For burning CDs and DVDs you can use the K3b program on the Linux platform. It is optimized for a KDE environment and is really little more than a GUI. The actual burning is performed by the command line utilities cdrecord, cdrdao, and growisofs. The developer is still busy developing version 0.12 but has again fixed some bugs in version 0.11 and has prepared a new release with 0.11.19 as the version number. The release notes look like this:

New year, new bug fix release.

These are the fixes:

• Fixed mp3 file detection.
• Fixed bug which made an image get deleted even if none was created.
• Fixed bug which made the iso image verification fail when writing in TAO mode.
• Fixed crash when no DVD writer is present.
