Download jv16 PowerTools 2007 1.7.0.405

The jv16 PowerTools program can clean the registry in Windows and apply various tweaks to fine-tune the system. It includes a disk defragmenter, a locator to find duplicate files and the ability to clear various logs. The developers have released version 1.7.0.405, in which they mainly worked on the new user interface. The announcement looks like this:

An updated version of jv16 PowerTools 2007 released. The updated version contains the following changes.

• Fixed many minor bugs relating to the new user interface introduced in the previous version.
• Added many small user interface improvements, such as enhanced program response times, improved the accuracy of the progress bars of certain tools and so on.

There is no need to update if you are happy with the version you are currently using, none of the found bugs are in any way critical.

The new version’s version number is 1.7.0.405. After downloading and installing the new version, please open the Help > About window to verify you are running the latest version. Some browsers tend to cache the installation file and therefore you might not receive the latest version but the same old version you have previously downloaded.

You can install the new version over the latest version of jv16 PowerTools 2006 and over any previous versions of jv16 PowerTools 2007.
