Macecraft Software today released the first update for last month’s 2007 version of jv16 PowerTools. This program is intended for cleaning the registry and fine-tuning the PC in general. For example, there are modules to determine which programs are started when Windows boots and you can search for duplicate files. In version 2007 we find, in addition to a new appearance, also a disk defragmenter. Version 1.7.0.398 includes four less critical bugs and the number of translations has been expanded:

The updated version contains the following changes:

• Fixed a bug from Duplicate File Finder that caused it not to work properly when searching from multiple directories at the same time.
• Fixed two different bugs from the registry cleaner engine that caused it not to list certain types of registry errors.
• Fixed a bug that caused the program to show incorrect user interface elements if the Registry Finder was ran before the Registry Cleaner.
• Added Czech, French, Hebrew, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Polish and Russian translation.
