Software Update: IM2 2.0 build 226 RC4

IM2 is a very comprehensive instant messaging program for the Windows platform. For example, it can connect to the networks of AIM, ICQ, MSN and Yahoo. It is also possible to use IRC. In addition, you can even start audio and video conferencing conversations, change the appearance with skins and exchange files. The developers have released the fourth release candidate of version 2.0 with the following announcement:

Here is the new Release Candidate of IM2 v2.0 (Build226)! It is for testing use and may still have some bugs. Please make sure you uninstall the old version of IM2, even the last beta or RC, completely. Delete your profiles too, to make sure you make a clean installation. Otherwise it could be, that there will be more bugs than normal. Especially users of Win98, Me, 2000 should send us bug reports to [email protected] or/and [email protected] . Our aim is to eliminate these bugs but we need complete bug reports for it.

NOTE: If you don’t want to test the RC, please do not install it and wait for the final of IM2 v2.0. We don’t take over adhesion for damage! You install it at your own risk!

Bug Fixes & Changes:

• We’ve made it more smaller
• We left only one main skin for beta version. All others will be available in a full release version.
• All of future betas will be with only one skin.
• Problem with IRC channels were fixed.
• Save event problem were fixed.
• Exclude BkColor and TextColor setting for Events window. (Event Window are fully skinable). These options were disabled.
• Message and Message History dialogs in a control center were fully redesigned.
