Download GSpot 2.5 beta 3

Just a few days ago we announced the first beta release of GSpot 2.5. Several new versions have since been released and we have arrived at 2.5 beta 3. This program is able to analyze avi, mpeg and vob files and provide extensive information about them. For example, it can tell which audio and video codecs were used in creating the video file and whether the necessary codec is installed on the system. The changelog of the last few versions shows the following changes:

v2.5 beta 3

• Fixed serious resource leak which caused app to crash on W9x.
• Fixed handling of large (4GB+) & multi-section WIPs.
• Restored display of total #of frames.
• Now identifies (but doesn’t yet demux) ISO MP4 stream format (eg 3ivx, Nero, QT)

v2.5 beta 2

• Fixed significant display issues which occurred when used on systems with other than 32-bit color.

v2.5 beta 1

• Fixed monitor window size and position problems.
