Download GrabIt 1.7.3 Beta

After more than three years of silence, a new version of GrabIt has once again appeared. This program is able to download files from newsgroups. Binaries that are split into several small files are automatically merged into the original file. GrabIt is free to use, but only registered users can access GrabIt Usenet Search and GrabIt Usenet Browser, with more search results and longer retention. The new versions come with the following notes:

I know GrabIt 2.0 is taking longer than expected and GrabIt 1.7.2 is showing its age. GrabIt 2.0 is still a work in progress, but not ready to be publicly tested yet.

I got some requests from fans to create a new release that has the latest UNRAR and PAR versions, so that is exactly what I did last week. No major updates in the code, just a newer UNRAR version a much faster PAR version. I also think I fixed the SSL connection problem. Feedback is welcome via the SUPPORT link on the left.
