Software Update: FrostWire 4.20.2

Spread the love

Friday version 4.20.2 of FrostWire was released. FrostWire is a Java-written file sharing program for Gnutella and Bittorrent networks, and it’s available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It came about when Limewire, after which this program is modeled, considered adding code in 2005 that would allow copyrighted material to be banned. The installer comes with an Ask toolbar, so pay attention to what is checked when installing. This release fixes an issue in the BitTorrent section, and the installer is a lot smaller than its predecessor:

Changes in version 4.20.2 “Torrent Joint” (HotFix):

  • Fixes a bug on torrent resume
  • Installer sizes reduced about 58%
