Download FileAnt File Manager 2004.06.10
From OneHundredAngryAnts comes FileAnt File Manager, a replacement for Windows Explorer. The program can work with two windows (like Total Commander), has tabs (like Excel or UltraEdit), a built-in ftp client, a built-in viewer for the most common files, can display folders in pie charts and much more. Version 2004.06.10 has just been released and has the following changes:
Release 2004.06.10
- Fixed: Some versions of XP and 2003 did not create 32bpp icons properly in the drivebar.
- Added: Increased speed of icon generation.
Release 2004.06.05
- Added: ‘Edit Folder Icons’ in ‘Configure’ which allows you to edit icons.
- Updated help slightly.
- Fixed: set drive letter color to blue.. letters were not visible to some people.
- Added: Most icons now detect changes such as CD ‘insert/remove notification’.
- Added: ‘Insert’ key can now be used to create folders.
- Fixed: Shutdown PC and Restart PC in the tray now work on all NT/2000/XP accounts.

- NOTE: Please note there is a menu item ‘Edit Folder Icons’ i accidently left in which does nothing… in the next version you will be able to use it.
- Added: Improved the layout of letters on the drive bar. Fixed font problem on XP (XP does not have Terminal).
- Added: Drag and drop of shortcuts/exe’s to toolbar and drag and drop of files to toolbar shortcuts.
- Added: Custom Toolbar shortcuts are now sorted alphabetically by shortcut name.
- Added: Improved the way home folders works (easy to understand now).
- Added: Improved the tree splitter… now has better grip and has inverted colours.
- Added: FileAnt no longer installs most of the default toolbar shortcuts… some have been moved to the ‘Tools’ menu.
