A number of programs have been developed to make a backup of your DVD movie. One makes the backup one to one for which you need a DVD burner, the other makes a backup by converting the DVD movie to an AVI format file. DVD Master Backup falls into the latter category and has been updated with 0.2.4 as the backing number for a few days now. The biggest change is replacing the used encoder from the old DivX 3.11 to DivX 5.0.5. The release notes look like this:

Bugs in this version:

DVD Master Backup don’t detect if you have the correct divx codec or sufficient disk space.

The non-encrypted vob’s can’t be ripped.

Changes:

The divx 3.11 codec was replaced with the 5.0.5 Version.

We added more titles in the titles menu selection button.

Some minor changes in the GUI.
